This Sunday sees the Pakistani Embassy in Berlin host a ceremony to commemorate the 74th anniversary of Pakistan’s Resolution Day. The event takes place on the eve of Pakistan’s National Day and involves a flag hoisting ceremony which will be followed by a reception. March 23 also sees the embassy participate in the Nouroz/Spring Festival at the Ethnological Museum Dahlem in Berlin. Here, ten countries from Central Asia will take part and engage in various performances and shows that display each country’s respective cultural traditions and values. In the case of Pakistan, students from Lahore University of Management Sciences will perform a traditional wedding performance which will include several dance performances.
