Argentinian Embassy in Germany participates in the organization of the Under Berlin Film Festival 2024
The second edition of Under Berlin will take place in November

The long-anticipated second edition of the Under Berlin Film Festival is set to make a significant cultural impact this November, with the Argentinian Embassy as one of the main sponsors and participants in the festival. Focusing on Argentinian cinema, the section Under the Light will be the highlight of the festival. The international film festival partnership has a great potential to further strengthen cultural ties between Germany and Latin America, as Brazil, Cuba, and Colombia are also represented.
Under Berlin 2024 will be from November 2 to November 3 at Lichtblick-Kino in Berlin, promising an eclectic program with participating nations from different continents: Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Romania, the Philippines, Slovenia, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Finland, Norway, and the USA.
As part of the UNDER Transterritorial Film Network, the Under Berlin Film Festival aims to highlight unconventional films that challenge traditional cinematic boundaries. Emphasizing the importance of cross-cultural dialogue in the arts and promoting innovative storytelling from these regions, the festival fosters a deeper understanding of not only Latin American cinema, but also within the broader international community.
