In her speech, Qi Mei remarked that language builds a bridge for mutual learning between world civilizations. Learning a new language is like opening a window to a new world.

The Governor of Carinthia gave a briefing on the business potentials of the State of Carinthia, especially in the area of semiconductor industry, tourism and renewable energy.

Ambassador Vilawan expressed views that Carinthia is facing the same challenges as some cities in Thailand and other ASEAN countries due to the increased risk of flooding as a result of climate change. Therefore, it is one of the potential areas where experiences and technology can be exchanged to reduce the effects of such disasters.

In addition, Thailand places a great importance on the development of smart cities to create livable and sustainable urban environment for its citizens. An example of the ongoing projects is the “Travel Link” in Phuket which is an intelligent tourism platform to provide quality, comprehensive and accessible tourism information which can be one of good practices applicable for Carinthia’s tourism.
