In a significant meeting underscoring South Africa and Germany’s commitment to deepening their bilateral relationship, HE Ambassador Stone Sizani welcomed Mr. Jochen Flasbarth, State Secretary for Economic Cooperation and Development, to discuss areas of collaboration, with a particular focus on renewable energy. The meeting, hosted by the South African Embassy, highlighted the countries' shared objectives in sustainable economic development and clean energy initiatives.

Mr. Flasbarth, reflecting on his recent visit to South Africa, reiterated Germany’s support for South Africa’s transition to renewable energy sources.
