Chilean Embassy in Berlin organizes a pivotal forum on green hydrogen collaboration

On November 20, the Embassy of Chile in Germany, in partnership with InvestChile and ProChile Deutschland, hosted the 5th Chile Green Hydrogen Day in Berlin. This landmark event aimed to strengthen Chile-Germany cooperation in the development and integration of green hydrogen technologies. With the pressing need for sustainable energy solutions, the forum showcased Chile's potential as a global leader in green hydrogen production and Germany's commitment to advancing renewable energy strategies.
The event was attended by such prominent figures as José Ignacio Medina from Chile's Ministry of Energy, Helmut Kantner of Austria Energy, Georg Benhöfer from VNG, and Dr. Jürgen Friedrich representing Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Together, these leaders discussed critical topics, such as overcoming technical challenges, establishing investment frameworks, and fostering collaborative research and development. Their dialogues underscored the mutual benefits of aligning Chile's abundant renewable energy resources with Germany's cutting-edge technological expertise.
