A Night of Central American and Dominican Short Films in Berlin
An evening of cinema and culture unites embassies from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, and the Dominican Republic
August 12th, 2025On Wednesday, September 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the Ibero-American Institute’s Simón Bolívar Hall in Berlin will host a unique cultural event: a curated screening of short films from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.
Organized by the Costa Rica-Germany Network (La Red Costa Rica-Alemania e.V.) with the generous support of the Ibero-American Institute, this evening invites the public to experience the rich storytelling traditions and creative visions of Central America and the Caribbean.
La Red Costa Rica-Alemania e.V. is a non-profit association based in Berlin that promotes cultural, academic, and professional exchange between Costa Rica and Germany. Through events like this, the organization strengthens cross-cultural ties and highlights Costa Rican talent and identity in Germany.
All films will be screened with English subtitles, ensuring accessibility for an international audience. Admission is free, and the event is open to all who wish to explore this diverse cinematic landscape.
