The Nordic Embassies are constantly organizing cultural events including movie screenings. This time the movie of one of the most outstanding Icelandic playwrights Mikael Torfason will be shown.

Can a man forgive his parents even though they tried everything possible for him not to get medical care when he needed it? As an adult man Mikael tries to understand. He reconstructs in his mind the story of his childhood. What happened and what made his parents do what they did?

The movie also touches on his whole childhood and his life on the island. In the end he decides that what happened is gone and that his life now is fine.

Mikael Torfason was born in 1974 in Reykjavik and is one of the best playwrights, journalists and directors of his generation. The movie ``Lost in Paradise`` was on the best seller list in Iceland in 2015. The movie is especially touching because of it being an autobiography.
