News from Berlin. Ciocoi was born 5thJune 1968. He is a Moldovan diplomat and is the Moldovan Ambassador to Germany. Before this Ciocoi was a journalist for daily newspapers before studying International Relations at Bucharest. He graduated from the training course for young diplomats from Central and Eastern Europe at the Foreign Office in 1997. During 2001-2004 Ciocoi headed the brach of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bonn after being the Head of the Foreign Ministry. He returned as a counsellor in Germany in 2007.
