Ulf Meyer’s Architecture Book Being Presented in Berlin

Ulf Meyer, who was born in Berlin, published his book titles “Architecture Guide Seoul” presenting 200 of the most important buildings of Seoul, the capital city of Korea. His book, created in collaboration with photographer Martin Eberle, who has been living in Berlin since 1992 and running his own gallery, “eberleeisfeld”.

Ulf Meyer studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago/Ill. After graduating with a master degree in 1996, he became an architectural writer/journalist/critic. He has published 11 books (“Bauhaus Architecture” [over 15.000 copies sold], “Cities of the Pacific Century”, “Tokyo architecture”) and over 1000 articles in newspapers and magazines around the world. In 2001/02 he worked for Shigeru Ban Architects in Tokyo, Japan, and now his attention has moved toward Korea’s architecture.

The Korean Cultural Center is also presenting a selection of highlighted architectural works of Korea. The images framed in the presentation are also Martin Eberle’s work. The presentation is taking place on Thursday, June 19th, at 18:00.
