THE ONE Grand Show in Berlin Showcases French Couture

The show is centred around a young man’s dream which is portrayed through several fascinating images. In his dream, as everything around him collapses, he finds the one person who supports him.

During the show, audiences can see over 500 extravagant costumes designed by Jean Paul Gaultier, French haute couture and prêt-à-porter fashion designer and former creative director of Hermès.

The spectacular light design was created by Peter Morse, who is an Emmy Award Winner and who has worked for several music stars, such as Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince.

The magnitude of the show is enormous: more than 100 artists will appear on the stage under a production budget of eleven million euros. It is one of the most splendid, extravagant shows you can see for a very affordable entrance fee.

The show will take place in Friedrichstadt-Palast: an arena whose history is almost as interesting as the show itself. The Friedrichstadt-Palast was first a market hall, later a circus arena, before undergoing an extensive restoration by the artist Hans Poelzig. Now, it is now a popular destination for Berliners and visitors alike to watch amazing dance performances in this distinctive building.
