The Center of Berlin Celebrates the Torstraßen Festival 2016

The Torstraßen Festival Saturday is going to take place on June 4th and Sunday June 5th, a festival dedicated to the music that will animate the Mitte district. The party starts already on Friday, June 3rd, with a smooth start in the evening at the Acud Macht Neu, where at 20 o’clock the Wake Island and LA Foster will be playing. Although it takes place along the Torstraße, this is not a street festival but an important showcase for many musicians and local clubs, who organize a series of special events just for this occasion.
The official start of the festival will be on Saturday 4th of June at 14 o’clock. However, the road will not be closed to traffic so you can reach the various locations of the concerts both by bike and by public transport. Throughout the afternoon until midnight many artists will be performing. Among the most important names are Asbjørn, Julianna Barwick, DJ Paypal, Farao, White Lung and Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band. After the clock strikes midnight, the party will move to the Acud!
For a truly unforgettable night to which you can join by paying a separate ticket for the price of 5 euro for those who have already paid the festival ticket and 6 € for all others!
On Sunday, the music will be staged at the Volksbühne, where there is a super concert with the music of Easter Fenster and Jaakko Eino Kalevi.
