Celebrate the most memorable flavors in Earth and have a taste of authentic African culture during a Berlin hot summer 2019.

After the success of the previous years, this summer Berlin will host again the African Food Festival (Program details will be announced soon). The festival offers a unique initiative to create a networking platform for the black community in Berlin. The festival was launched for the first time in 2016 based on the willingness to create a place for sharing experiences.

The festival was born from the ambition to create a community for cultural representation and nowadays it is a concrete initiative aiming for sharing solely a positive image of African culture, with the desire to reorganize European’s conception about Africa.

The festival will showcase a unique kitchen journey to discover through various stands of authentic African food. From street food to traditional cusine. Together with a culinary experience the visitor will have the possibility to enjoy African music concerts, workshops, listen to talks, shopping unique African handcrafts, and a kids corner will be provided as well.

Though such initiative the festival offers an international platform representing numerous regions which span from South, North, East and West Africa, with the final aim to represent an authentic African culture far from the European’s conception of it.
