Presentation made in Berlin about Cuban Culture and Sport
Panel Discussion on the themes of Approaching Cuba, getting to know the country, its cultures, its customs and its sport

The panel discussion was convened last 13th May, 2016 by the local group of the Left Party in Berlin. The panel discussion dealt with various issues related to the Caribbean country, taking particular relevance sports, culture and other current issues of the nation./strong>
The keynote speaker of the presentation was the speaker Juan Parra Fellové, who is the representative and head of Culture and Sports of the Embassy of Cuba in Germany, who highlighted the achievements of the Greater Antilles in the different cultural manifestations and it enjoy a broad international recognition.
The keynote speaker for the panel discussion was who highlighted the commitment of Cuba in the dissemination and preservation of their cultural heritage. He also emphasized the commitment to the promotion and encouragement of artistic creation in the country.
Besides members of the group of the Left party who attended the panel discussion, they took the opportunity to address other issues of particular relevance to the Cuban nation. Including the current relations between Cuba and the US, the recently concluded VII Congress of the PCC and the effect of policy blockade against Cuba. With regard to the latter, the importance of international solidarity in the struggle for their total elimination was confirmed, as is the main obstacle to the development of Cuba and violates the rights of the Cuban people. Everything was developed under a cooperative environment in which good relations and ties between Germany and Cuba was very present.
