News from Berlin. Badura Skoda is one of the last representatives of his generation of musicians who form the basis of a key part of what is known as quintessential European culture.

The music of the evening, like very many composers of the era, reflects a range of topics from national idiosyncrasy to the encapsulation of a bygone lifestyle, the strife for knowledge, existentialism, to harmony, to beauty and the quest for fulfillment in love as well as understanding God.

The event takes place in the Kammermusiksaal, in the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra’s home at 1, Herbert-von-Karajan-Straße, 10785. The event starts at 8pm with more information found here.
