The Embassy of Ukraine in Berlin would like to introduce you to the multi-media group exhibition curated by Liudmyla Nychai at LiTE-HAUS Galerie + Projektraum.

The contemporary art exhibition is a result of a competition and summer residency in the Ternopil region of Ukraine. The residency honored the memory of a teenage victim of the Euromaidan events in 2014 - Nazariy Voitovich - who passed away while protesting. Artists spent four weeks in September 18 under the exchange program with the Košice Artist in Residence (K.A.I.R.) in Travneve, Ukraine. Within the framework of the program, the artists assessed communication instruments in society, explored the visual and verbal flow of information, smashed their own stereotypes and created new forms of communication in search of different impressions. A special inspiration was the location, residency village characterized by calmness and splendid landscapes, filled with life.

The residency was organized by the NGO Congress of Cultural Activists and the NGO Youth Development Center Bridge. The exhibition is organized through the support of public funding from the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
