On December 9th, 2018 at 9:00 pm, Luxembourg guitarist and jazz composer David Laborier will present his latest project NE: X: T in the sextet ensemble in Berlin's jazz club b-flat.

The performance is part of this year's Luxembourg series at b-flat. In his new project NE: X: T, the passionate jazz composer David Laborier focuses on a cool and playful mix of jazz, pop, rock and experimental music. He creates a coexistence of styles, where sound and images combine greatly. Laborier explores and pushes the boundaries of jazz.

For more than fifteen years, David Laborier has been a key figure in Luxembourg's jazz scene. For example, in 2010 his composition "Fast and Furious" from the album "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Band" won the International Songwriting Competition in the Jazz category. Additionally, David Laborier collaborated on the album "Sings" by the African diva Angélique Kidjo and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Luxembourg. "Sings" was awarded a Grammy in 2016 as "Best World Music Album".
