News from Berlin - Next week sees the Danish Embassy in Berlin organize another instalment of its ‘Kammerkonzert’ events. The showing takes place on April 10th at the Felleshus building, which belongs to the Nordic Embassies.

This edition of the ‘Kammerkonzert’ sees members of the Rundfunk-Orchestra of Berlin play various pieces which, among others, also relate to Denmark. The popularity of the Nordic Embassy’s events has taken a steep rise in recent years, with next week’s event belonging to one of its most successful and sustained endeavours.

Next week’s ‘Kammerkonzert’ has already been sold out for a period of time, with interest in this particular event series steadily increasing. In past concerts, the embassy has invited members of numerous Danish orchestras, but also artists from other countries to contribute. The fact that the events take place in the Felleshus building also contributes to the given success, as it has generally received favourable reviews as a concert venue. Here, visitors have especially been able to comment on the fact that audiences are located quite close to artists during shows which, in turn, also makes for a good quality of sound throughout.
