Two Palestinian Researchers to Attend the Falling-Walls-Konferenz in Berlin

The Young Talents are the Winners of the Falling-Walls Lab in Birzeit and Gaza

Hadil Alshurafa and Mohammad AlHajHamad have been shortlisted for participating in the Falling-Walls-Konferenz, which will be held in Berlin on November 8th and 9th.

The Falling-Walls Konferenz is an international scientific conference, where researchers and experts in science, industry and society meet.

Hadil Alshurafa is a DAAD alumna and her master's degree in chemistry in Jordan has been provided by the German government. In the Falling-Walls Lab in Gaza, she convinced the jury with a three minutes speech focused on the renewable energies through the hydrogenase.

Mohammad AlHajHamad has studied medicine in Nablus and he handles the question of how to improve the hygienic conditions in the hospitals. His theme in the Falling-Walls Lab was related to the mobile contamination.

The Falling-Walls Labs are organized by the Falling-Walls Foundation and financed by various organizations, such as the Bayer and the Sartorius Foundations, the Berlin Senate and the German Federal Foreign Office.
