The Establishment of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis
Promoting networks and collaboration of the Azerbaijanis community in Germany

The Azerbaijan Embassy in Berlin organized the meeting of the representatives of Azerbaijan Diaspora Organizations in Germany on 29.09.2018.
The Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan H. E. Amb. Fuad Muradov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Federal Republic of Germany H. E. Amb. Ramin Hasanov chaired the meeting. Broad discussions on the topic of diaspora and issues of the lack of cooperation among the Azerbaijani community in Germany were brought up to participants during the meeting.
Versatile ideas and suggestions were discussed and reviewed by participants of the meeting. On the other hand, proposals were made not only to increase the efficiency of diaspora work but also to improve the unity of Azerbaijan citizens living in Germany. In order to centralize the operation of the Azerbaijan diaspora organizations and to promote the cohesion of Azerbaijanis in Germany, participants agreed on the decision to establish the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in Germany. According to the decision, Doctor Yaşar Musayev, Chairman of Baku-Nürnberg Culture and Education Center was selected as the coordinator of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in Germany.
