The Dutch Symphony Orchestra is Coming to Berlin

The Embassy of the Netherlands in Berlin invites everyone to the evenings of classical music

The Sempre Animato travels to Germany in Summer 2019. The orchestra journey starts on July 22. Tree concerts led by Kian Pin Hiu will be given in Berlin on July 25th, 27th and 28th. The program includes the Symphony No.4 by Brahms and the Zauberflöte overture by Mozart.

The Sempre Animato Symphony Orchestra is a projector orchestra that undertakes a concert trip abroad every year. For example, in recent years the orchestra has given successful concerts in Hungary, Sweden, the Czech Republic, France and Italy. On these journeys, the orchestra performed with renowned Dutch and foreign soloists.

In addition, the orchestra regularly collaborates with music companies in the Netherlands, including the Amsterdam Handel Association and the pianist collective Scarbo.

Sempre Animato consists of around fifty members: professionals and very experienced amateurs. There is a core of regular participants, when necessary is supplemented by a changing group of enthusiastic musicians from all over the country.

From the 25th to the 28th of July there will be three concerts in Berlin under the direction of conductor Kian Pin Hiu. On the program are Brahms and Mozart. The orchestra will perform on July 25, 2019 at 19:30 in St.Marienkirche, July 27, 2019 at 19:30 at Apostel-Paulus-Kirche and July 28, at 16:00 in Ernst-Reuter-Saal. The Embassy of the Netherlands encourages everyone to attend the event. Admission is free.
