The Chinese Culture Center Hosts a Lecture on International Cooperation

The lecture "A Belt, a Road" will promote mutual understanding between China and Germany

"A belt, a road" is the name of an initiative for international cooperation that China has proposed in view of the new developments in the world. Its core principles are directed to "common development on the basis of consultations and common prosperity". It shall promote the "combination of policy, transport, trade and capital and the heart of man" between countries.

This initiative, which will take place on July 7th at the Chinese Culture Center in Berlin, will pay special attention to the construction of infrastructure and industrial development in the central Asia region. The main objective is to strengthen cooperation between the central Asian countries and gain mutual benefit by the “win-win” principle. 

In this way, German audience can get to know the initiative "A belt, a road" and its purpose better. Professor Wang Yuzhu from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has been invited to give the lecture on this topic. 

During his speech, Professor Wang Yuzhu will explain the origin of the initiative "A belt, a road", its model of co-operation and its main characteristics, showing the practical efforts made ​​by China to promote the initiative. 

The major focuses of his lecture will be the theory and practice of regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, the relations between China and the ASEAN countries as well as the initiative "A belt, a road". Professor Wang Yuzhu can provide deep understanding in the matter of regional integration and international cooperation, as proved by his numerous publications, such as "The Asia-Pacific zone: build partnerships for the future" and " A belt, a road and the construction of an Asian model of integration "

The lecture will show to German and international audience the efforts made by China in international cooperation in Central Asia, highlighting the main features of cultural integration in the continent.
