SAMA Award Winner (Best Female Artist and Best Upcoming Artist) Sho Madjozi will be in Berlin's Gretchen Club on 24 July 2019.

The 26-year-old South African SAMA Award winner will be performing in Berlin on 24 July 2019. Sho Madjozi is known for her new flair which she brings into the music world. She is seen as a sensation. She not only sings to entertain but primarily to bridge. As a graduate of African Studies and Creative Writing she tends to profess her passion for a United Africa through her music. She was raised in a pan-African household were her consciousness for Africa began.

Sho Madjozi is as well known for breaking barriers, not only in South Africa but as well around the world. Her songs are often in Tsonga, a language spoken in Southern Africa. Using Tsonga as a music language indicates additionally that she is ready to break any cultural barriers.

South Africa is on the other side of the world, still Sho Madjozi does not see any geographical difference. She wants to move and present her new sensation to the world. She has performed at New York’s Afropunk and Johannesburg’s Global Citizen Festival, among others and now in Berlin where her passion for unity through music shall be displayed. Don´t miss this!
