Foreign Affairs is an international summer festival featuring contemporary performative arts in Berlin. The program features theatre, dance, performances, fine arts, film and music from different cultures. The festival will take place from July 5th to 17th, 2016.

Providing a creative platform for a broad range of performative arts, the Foreign Affairs festival explores new and exciting ways to combine different artistic mediums such as theatre, dance, fine arts, music and film. These mediums highlight different cultural traditions and cultural practices from various regions of the world.

Visitors at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, the festival's main venue, are invited to witness different artistic expressions, which transcend traditional concepts of art. The objective of the festival is to break down traditional barriers of artistic forms of cultural art by opening the dialogue for cultural exchange. For almost two weeks, Foreign Affairs offers a varied program combining theory and art. The program includes shows, installations, concerts and workshops.

One of the projects of the program, Student Affairs is of particular interest.
