Indonesian Culture closer to the Hearts of the World’s Community

A wide variety of music is featured in the show archipelago Wonderful Indonesia

Indonesia has become known as one of the most diverse nations in the world. The diversity of Indonesian culture includes rich ethnic and cultural characteristics, including a wide range of tone and rhythm of the music. Music is a medium used by Indonesia to further their relationship with the rest of the world’s community.

At the Mall of Berlin, located in Potsdamer Platz, the crowded center of the German capital was witness to music from the various corners of the archipelago Selema for two days. Thousands of people who were in Berlin were encouraged to participate in the musical performances.

A wide variety of music was featured in the show, Wonderful Indonesia, which was held at the end of June.  The event was organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Berlin, in cooperation with the Ministry of tourism of Indonesia, and the Indonesian Trade and Promotion Centre (ITPC) Hamburg. The event aimed to provide the people of Berlin with the opportunity to enjoy the arts of Indonesia while simultaneously learning about Indonesia.

Music including the traditional songs of North Sumatra, including a medley dangdut ku Rindu played terajana- typical a la Trio Batak by Sitanggang Lopez and his Trio Morados, ensured that the visitors danced and danced.

The event organisers did not miss the opportunity to promote Indonesian cuisine either. The visitors had the opportunity to witness the process of making rice-shaped miniature Tumpeng Istiqlal Mosque and then to taste these creations.
