German-Japanese Exchange Program

News from Berlin - The application deadline for this year’s German-Japanese exchange program is fast approaching. As announced earlier this year, the Japanisch-Deutsches Zentrum Berlin and the Kinder- und Jugendring Sachsen are organizing an exchange between Japanese and German youngsters under the title “Social participation of young people”.

Some of the requirements for the applicants are to be between 18 and 26 years old, to be living in Germany, to speak English and, of course, to be interested in Japanese culture and society. The program includes a preparation seminar from the 11th until the 13th of July in Berlin and the actual exchange will take place from 19th of August until the 2nd of September with the Japanese delegation coming to Germany on the 2nd of September. The individual fee is €600..

The deadline for applications is the 23rd of May 2014.
