The Event at the Czech Embassy in Berlin Will Focus on Cooperation between Berlin and the Moravian Region in the Czech Republic

The event "Possibilities of cooperation between the Moravian-Silesian Region and Berlin and Brandenburg in the sphere of biotechnology and regenerative medicine" will take place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Berlin on October 26th.  

The speakers will be Václav Procházka, MUDr., Ph.D., MSc., Deputy Director for Science and Research of the University Hospital Ostrava, holder of U.S. patents in the field of regenerative medicine and Ing. Michal Zahradníček, MBA, member of the PRIMECELL Therapeutics Board of Trustees.

Participants at the event will include the H.E. Tomáš Podivínský, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Germany and the Mr. Novák, the President of the Moravian-Silesian Region.

The event will feature a presentation of the research and development activities of the University Hospital Ostrava, the 4MEDI Centre for Cell Therapy and Diagnostics, PRIMECELL Therapeutics and other companies. The aim of the event is to support the development of cooperation with companies and research institutions in Berlin and Brandenburg.

The University Hospital in Ostrava is the largest state-owned medical facility in the North Moravia. It provides medical care to 1.2 million inhabitants. 4MEDi - Biotech Business Park for Medical Innovations, located in Ostrava, represents one of the worldwide leading hi-tech centers for biomedical research and development of new processes and medicinal products in the field of Advanced Therapy.
