E-commerce and its Development Prospects in Berlin

The conference addressed the Russian market and European e-commerce, the main topics being the “Russian Post” - a link between Europe and Russia, the e-commerce market in Germany and the possibilities of the Russian market, “Russian Post” in the Russian Federation: today and tomorrow.

The event was organized and successfully conducted by the Russian Post Berlin, branch of FSUE “Russian Post”, with practical assistance from Deutscher Händlerbund, the German e-commerce association, and the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Germany, partners of the branch.

The forum aimed to familiarize the participants with the activities of German and Russian companies in the e-commerce segment and the development of international e-commerce of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian Post.

At present, the Russian e-commerce market is among the top four in Europe, its size and its  prospects for development making it extremely attractive at the international level.

The culmination of the event was the signing of a joint Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the FSUE “Russian Post Berlin”, Deutscher Händlerbund, the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Germany and the Russian Export Center (“REC”). It was signed accordingly by the following: Director of FSUU Russian Post Berlin O. Ospishchev, Director of Public Relations at Deutscher Händlerbund Florian Seikel, Sales Representative of Russia in Germany Andrei Sobolev, Managing Director for International Development of REC JSC Anna Belyaeva.
