The Japanese-German Center Berlin offers young professionals and volunteers a 2-week long exchange program. The participants have the opportunity to get to know the culture, the history as well as the living and working conditions prevalent in the respective participating countries. Participants also get an insight into their field of work for two to three days during the trip. Before the exchange, attendees will take part in a preparation seminar at the Japanese-German Center in Berlin  which will last three days.

The topic for 2014 is “work and social responsibility” for employees and on the other hand “social participation of young people” for volunteers.

This exchange program is financed by the “Kinder- und Jugendplan des Bundes”, a government program for children, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan. However, some part of the cost has to be covered by the participants.

The deadline for applications is the 23rd of May 2014.
