The Society for German-Dutch Cultural Works presents the newest event on urbanity, cities and language. It is targeted to everyone interested in the role of the language in our cities.

The Society for German-Dutch Cultural Works started this project on the 2nd of November with the help of the Embassy of Netherlands. The event will go on until the 8th of December with different types of arts being presented in it.

The event is an installation of the Amsterdam collective Experimental Jetset and of the American musician Ian Svenonius. The event will be curated from the artist‘s initiative Atelier Impopulaire and it is divided in 3 parts. Textual, spatial and audible art forms will be part of the event.

The event explores the idea of the city as a platform for language. Ian Svenonius will also be personally performing on the 15th of November as part of the event.

The event takes place at Roter Salon Volksbühne Berlin, Linienstraße 227, 10178 Berlin. It will continue to take place there for the whole duration of the event.
