The largest folk festival in Berlin celebrates the French “savoir vivre” with artists, performers, rollercoasters and French specialties. Held from June 24th to July 24th 2016, the festival is a venue for an exchange of cultures and cultural dialogue. It offers a unique French cultural experience to visitors by highlighting French traditions and French cuisine.

A French village forms the center of this summer fair in the district of Reinickendorf. Strolling through narrow streets and alleys framed by facades of French buildings, Francophiles enjoy both the special flair and the many delicacies that the fair offers - a great selection ranging from cheese and baguette to seafood and tarte flambée, accompanied by selected wines, French beer or champagne.

Any festival is incomplete without music. The French-German fair features a variety of French chansons from old, classical music to contemporary, modern beat. An accordion playing French songs can be heard all over the bustling fair. As well, entertainment is provided in a variety of forms for people of all ages. With more than 150 performers, rides and rollercoasters including the “Euro Coaster”, “Katz and Maus” and the “Poseidon” water ride, the festival offers an activity to suit everyone’s age and interest.

The highlight of the fair is the impressive display of fireworks every Saturday night. Corresponding to the colours of the French national flag, the sky over the festival will sparkle in red, white and blue. The show of fireworks and the grand festival day finale is set to attract people of all ages.
