The exhibition aims at promoting Finnish culture in Germany - through showing wood un-der different perspectives - during the first half of the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The Wild Wild Wood Exhibition, held at the Finnish Embassy from the 4th of July to the 29th of September, had its vernissage on the 4th of July. The exhibition is highly interactive and it presents the different usages wood can be employed for, with a focus on the artistic ones. As a matter of fact, the exhibition will present pieces such as shapeable wood walls, as the one in the photo above, where visitors can leave a print of their own bodies; a wood bounce game with a wood-like scale and they will even have the option to build their own city with 3000 block of wood.

The exhibition offers families and different individuals the chance of a relaxing day out, where both adults and children can express their creativity and learn new notions about wood, while also experiencing Finnish culture during its presidency of the Council of the European Union.
