News from Berlin - On Tuesday May 6th, 2014, in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute in Berlin, the BDA Gallery is organizing the series 1:1 Berlin architectural dialogues. During the event, an Italian architect and his Berlin colleague will share their views and positions on major current architectural issues. The talk is designed to provide the opportunity to discuss cultural differences and similarities. The international discussion series, which was born from the concept of urban drift is curated by the BDA members Eike Becker, Brigitte Kochta and Petra Vondenhof.

The series was created with the intent to directly compare personal, cultural and social similarities/differences . Thanks to the support of the Italian Institute of Culture, Italy is now able to present the architecture of 1:1 Berlin architecture dialogues as the host country. Once again, the BDA Gallery welcomes distinguished guests in order to create an interesting debate on architecture and the architect’s work.

The discussions are documented in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute and published in connection with the video-sharing sites of BDA Berlin.

The event will be held in English. It will start at 19 clock. Admission is free. Location: BDA Gallery, Mommsenstr. 64, Berlin-Charlottenburg.
